It is associated with the kidney & bladder meridians in relation to the controlling and creation cycles of the Five Elements Theory. We will practice long-held postures and Qi guiding to rejuvenate the body and mind of exhaustion and adrenal fatigue as well as releasing emotional tension associated with fear, blame or lack of confidence. It is the perfect way to unwind.

Yin Yoga Qi Flow Warm-up and Transition | Awaken your Qi

Also called the 8 Strands of the Brocade, it is one of the oldest forms of Qi-gong, consisting of eight exercises repeated eight times. They flourished during the 12th century by the general Yueh Fei to strengthen the body of his warriors. They can be performed standing or seating with similar benefits. Loosening stiffness and strengthening the body are excellent gentle Qi preparation to yin yoga classes or placed between the still postures.
